Viaducts, tunnels and motorways

Brive to Montpellier. A mix of incredibly old building skills in the village of Collonges de Rouge built in the 1300's
.....and then in the middle of no-where .....150kms along the motorway from Brive..the Millau Viaduct - a modern engineering feat. Taller than the Eiffel Tower, the highest bridge in the world at 270m and 2.5km long built in 2004 it really does appear to float in the clouds. it was fantastic to cross on a motorbike, could see so much, sooooo...high and appeared to takes ages despite speed limit being 110kph. Freezing cold though! no heater.
