Weekends are great for market shopping. The food is fresh and reasonably priced which is more than what you can say about supermarket shopping. Everyone goes to a market somewhere on the weekend - they are always packed with people and great atmosphere especially if its a sunny day...we park the bike up for the morning and wander about...have a pique nique later. It's a great way to enjoy the food and just slow down a bit.
After the market, we headed away from Provence northward to the Alps...another adventure...not at all prepared for how quickly the temperature dropped from 20 to 10 and then rode straight into a hail storm on the motorway so no way of getting shelter. We were laughing out loud it was so ridiculous....talk about tourists!
You guys are hilarious! We love hearing about your adventures :) Just as well you've had a couple of practice rides in the rain in NZ... not too keen on the hail though hahaha! The market food does look beautiful and fresh...your bike looks good too!
